In the colorful, artistic village of Matlacha, Florida (on Pine Island) you’ll find a gallery featuring a fabulous collection of art and curiosities by talented artists both local and global.

Owners, Steve and Lisa Timcak had a vision - a vision of a gallery that captured the essence of the village of Matlacha where an old Florida feel still exists. They wanted their gallery to portray the spirit of the town, a place where all are welcome and being unique means you fit right in.

Steve and Lisa have fashioned a vibrant and welcoming tropical island atmosphere where you can enjoy great music (and ice cream) while you peruse their eclectic gallery of over 70 local artists and curiosities from around the Globe.

Steve can be found almost daily in his studio creating his unique jewelry and latest undertaking, lamps. Known for his ability to take incongruous materials and turn them into something, he fashions mixed metals, clock parts and a myriad of elements into wearable and functional art forms. His Steampunk (Victorian Industrial) is unlike anything you've seen before and are created without fusing, wire wrapping or adhesives.

Among the many works of exceptional local talent on display, you will find Christina Wyatt’s sensuous mermaids, the unique style of Sarah Kiser, colorful acrylics and oils by Joan Roberts, watercolors of local scenes by Ed Brown, Beth Collette’s glowing Dichroic glass fish jewelry, landscape photography from Angie Chestnut, glass creations from Jimmie Chew plus so much more.

Whether you're looking for original, creative home decor or unique gift items for friends and family, you'll find what you're seeking (and some things you never dreamed of!) at Island Visions. Let them and their friendly, entertaining staff help you with your needs. Come see a bit of old Florida with a modern vibe where you can discover 'Matlachic'
